I'm moving to MySpace.  For those of you who liked reading about my life, you can find me there at www.myspace.com/dbkim .

Even though I know many of you prefer Facebook, I'm choosing to pass on Facebook for now.  I feel like I can reach out to more non-Christians and Average Joes through MySpace than through Facebook.  In my mind, Facebook is set up to be a little more insular (being built around networks) and is still dominated by college-era people and career young adults.  Now that I'm working though, I realize that most people aren't college-age, and the people I want to reach won't necessarily have college degrees or jobs at big companies.  Not to say that I'll actually succeed in reaching out to people or even a single person - I'll do the fishing and leave the catching up to the Lord - but the point is that I want to be available.  I think MySpace is better for that.  The advertisements suck, but in a way, that makes MySpace more like real-life too.  Remaining in the world and yet not being of it - no one said it'd be champagne and roses.

Anyway, if you use MySpace at all, feel free to visit my site every once in a while.  I'm not high on media (I don't even have a photo of myself at the moment), but I'm still writing and I'm going to do it there for now.  See you there!
